Doodle and Chat hosts, Carrie and Mandi, welcome Yaritza Villalba to Episode 4. This live episode takes all participants on a journey through Yaritza’s experiences. A journey that has taken her from being a Social Studies teacher to Peer Collaborative Lead teacher of an alternative High School, in Brooklyn, New York to Founding President of a non profit 501(c)3, YV Educational Resources Inc.

During the height of the Pandemic, 2020, Yaritza then becomes Host of Flipgrid series #AskYaritza: Culturally Responsive Teaching. One year later she becomes a new mom, begins a career as an Assistant Principal of an Expeditionary Learning School and now author.

Through her energy, new book “McKenzie’s Time Machine”, Flipgrid series, and relentless passion, Yaritza has developed workshops where she shares her deep passion for her students and opportunities to provide teachers and students with strategies and materials to assist them in the educational process.
